Workshops:
Conference participants are invited to contribute with lectures or workshops in the line of the conference theme.

Contributions should be sent to Nicolai Halvorsen who is the administrator of the conference worhshops.

Nicolai Halvorsen gives the following introduction:

"Denmark is the home of the very famous poet, theologian and hymwriter N. F. S. Grundtvig, who was a pioneer and a prophet in his time. In acordance with profetic tradition he was not recognized for a long period of his life, but in retrospect his influence was beyond comprehension. What did make a historical difference was not possible to foresee.

In our daily work as university chaplains we often see that the things of greatest importance happens without being planned or even intended. Similary we know that the Kingdom of God can break through as sunshine in the darknes, in times when or places where all we had was darkness and lack of power.

As for the contemporary University the people in power seems to think differently. They agenda is more planning, more market, more outcome, all these wishes spoken in the language of economics. The people in power wish for the university to produce pioneers and skilled, advanced labour force.

Does christian faith have a role in this setting? If yes, is it the role of profetic protest or is it a role of a supportive character for the future pioneers? Or something else?

During our conference we will engage in these questions, and the host committee would like to ask for contributions in terms of workshops or lectures.

We have not divided the workshops and lectures in separate streams or headings. We would like you to consider, if you could contribute in any relevant way. When the suggestions for workshops and lectures are collected we will dicide, wheater to separate them in different headings."
